Excursion Boats And Zodiacs

The "Xplorer" is a specially designed aluminium excursion vessel used for the majority of our excursions. This vessel has high horsepower engines and will accommodate all passengers at one time. The "Xplorer" will be used for landings and for extensive exploration of rivers and tributaries. For your added convenience and comfort, the "Xplorer" is equipped with an awning and toilet.

We also carry two inflatable landing craft (Zodiacs). Designed for expedition work, these large and heavy-duty inflatable tables are extremely safe. Separate air compartments retain a large reserve of buoyancy even if the boats damaged. The flat bottom design permits these crafts to land directly onto the beaches. Expect nonetheless to wade through shallow water to reach the shore.

Sydney Harbour The unforgettable way to impress your friends and family. Celebrate your wedding, birthday, a corporate event, or even a family re-union aboard this luxurious vessel. The extraordinary way to see it all.

THE SYDNEY SUNDANCER

Built to the highest standards for luxury yachting, Sydney Sundancer is more like a floating private hotel. There is an amazingly large foredeck to laze away the days in the tropical sun with a freshly made fruit punch in hand, while the aft deck has plenty of room to settle back, enjoy the technicolour sunsets and delicious dinner.

"Toys" like windsurfer and fishing gear, masks and snorkel are standard equipment. You can even be captain for a day. The roller furling sails mean the yacht is easily managed. So go on, take the helm and let the skipper help you with the finer points of sailing. Even novices finish their holiday sounding like experts. Below decks you're greeted by the richness and gentle hue of traditional seafarer's teak.

Double staterooms, lavishly furnished, mean your sleeping quarters are every bit as relaxing as your day has been. The superbly appointed galley has seen Sydney Sundancer's talented chef turn out gourmet delights guaranteed to bring a pleasing smile to the face of even the most fastidious connoisseur.

Come aboard Sydney Sundancer to experience the holiday of a lifetime!

Husband and wife team Lynne and John Boyce have had a romance with the sea ever since they can remember. Lynne called the QE2 home for years while John has sailed everything from tiny dinghies to the most luxurious pleasure craft afloat anywhere in the world. They're justifiably proud of their home away from home. They personally supervised every aspect of the construction of the Sydney Sundancer and took great care to incorporate every convenience. John is a master Mariner and has been sailing for over 30 years. His expert knowledge ensures the yacht runs smoothly and so does your holiday. John has sailed round the world but the sirens of the Great Barrier Reef keep calling him back. Lynne is a master chef and every day intoxicating new aromas will emerge from the galley carried on cool ocean breezes. Once you've experienced fresh fish caught only moments ago you can't go back to anything else. Lynne's cooking has an emphasis on healthy cuisine and she is more than pleased to cater for people with special dietary requirements.

Come enjoy Sydney Sundancer and you'll see why we say Lynne and John will pamper you in this heavenly hideaway.

Cruising to the Australian Outback

The region known simply as The Kimberley takes it's evocative name from its most imposing landmark; an ancient mountain range visible from the rugged sea coast.

Covering more than 400,000 square kilometres (an area three times larger than England) in North West Australia, it is a place universally acknowledged as the world’s last - and possibly most beautiful - wilderness.

The Kimberley yields images to fill the frames of a lifetime. It is a place of magnificent vistas created by towering rock ridges, silent secluded gorges, wide savannah plains and waterfalls which defy both nature and belief.

Discover Broome, the still exotic capital of The Kimberley that was once the pearling capital of the world and is clawing back its claim by once again delivering the bounty of the seas to visitors from around the globe.

Discover the heartland of Australia’s northernmost unspoilt outback. The Kimberley is a completely unique experience.

Bareboat Yacht Charters:
If you fancy spending your holiday at the helm, sailing wherever the wind takes you, then a bareboat charter is the way to go. You choose what boat you want and crew it yourself. First timers are fully briefed before leaving, but if you are a little unsure, a skipper will stay on board for the duration of your trip or until you're at ease. The channels between the islands are safe, calm and deep and the majority of the islands are within line of sight from one another. There are plenty of safe protected anchorages throughout the islands.

Fully Crewed Yacht Charter:
If you'd prefer to be looked after by a skipper & crew, then select your dream boat and leave it to the professionals. Fully crewed vessels cruise the islands by day and tuck into secluded coves at night. Some even sail to the outer reef. How much you participate is entirely up to you. The skipper & crew are more than happy to show the ropes and will even hand over the helm. Start your day with a short swim before breakfast, a sail to a deserted island beach for a spot of snorkelling, fishing, island exploring and sunbaking, or just laze on the deck with a good book. All food and equipment (snorkelling gear, fishing gear, linen, etc) is provided. There's no work, so just relax and watch the world float by.

Tucked between Australia's tropical Queensland peninsula and the protective coral fringe of the Great Barrier Reef, the Whitsunday Islandsare the Coral Sea's gift to sailors.
