WHERE IS TONGA?

Tonga is an archipelago of 170 islands scattered across a 265-mile (425km)stretch of the South Pacific, about 480 miles (775km) south-east of Fiji, 2000 miles (3220km)north-east of Sydney and 1180 miles north-east of Auckland. The islands, only 37 of which are inhabited, are located just to the west of the International Dateline.

International Airport:

There are two major airports, Fua'amotu International Airport on Tongatapu and Lupepau'u International Airport on Vava'u.
