Tonga Live aboard-    Diving, Whale Watching, Game Fishing - Experience Tonga, the Untouched Paradise

The 2 - 9 day safaris will bring guests to spectacular submerged reefs and dive sites, which no one else dives. Cruise itinerary includes the main island, Tongatapu, with its small atolls, and Eua Island are the highlight for diving & fishing. On request the vessel can arrange several day tours with overnight stays on uninhabited islands. You will find snorkel gear on board, cards, chess tents in case someone wants to spend the night on an island, and there is a big BBQ at the back of the boat.

The vessel is able to accommodate up to 8 guests with the following:

2 double cabins with single beds
1 cabin with double bed
1 cabin with 4 single beds
2 toilets/1 shower (hot & cold)
1 outside shower (cold only)
Kitchen/Galley equipped with everything

The boat is equipped with a Bauer K14 compressor, huge dive platform and a dining and sundeck. An Onan Genset supplies 12V / 24V / 240V / 415V and guarantees cold drinks and a quick refilled dive tank. Stabilisers on both sides guarantees a comfortable journey on the boat even with rough seas. We sail only during the daytime and anchor in safe spots during the night where early morning or night dives can be made.
 

2008 pricing: US$240 per person per day, plus 15% tax. Rates include:

bullet diving (up to 2 guided dives per day)/whale watching (from July through to November)
bullet full board except soft and alcoholic drinks
bullet all transfers

Non divers - US$90 per person per day, plus 15% tax
Children- minimum age is 8 yrs- 8-11 yrs pay 50% of non diver rate
Departures require a minimum of 3 passengers
Although most divers bring their own equipment there are 5 permanent sets of dive gear on board at an extra cost of US$20 per day- this must be requested in advance
Dive sites depend on weather & visibility
Please advise at least 4 weeks in advance of your departure if you have special dietary needs
Boat departs and arrives at Nukualofa, opposite the Waterfront Lodge.

Private group charters are also available at an all-inclusive rate from US$211 per person per day based on 6 guests privately chartering out the vessel.

This vessel is equipped with a dive compressor, BCD jackets, regulators, tanks & weights. The yacht is based at Tongatapu, however depending on how long you want to cruise, your charter can also include the islands of Haapai. During the winter months from July to October you can watch whales between the Haapai Group & Eua Island.
