For freedom of choice and cruising at your own pace, a bareboat charter is for you. A little more experience is required by those wishing to go bareboat sailing and a resume of your sailing experience is required prior to arrival.

The sailing area in Tahiti consists of the islands of Raiatea, Tahaa, Huahine, Bora-Bora, Moorea, Tahiti and the Leeward Islands. This can be extended to the Tuamotus on request. Sailing to Maupiti is only allowed with a skipper on board due to difficult passages.
