The 2008 Tahiti Pearl
Regatta will occur from 8th to
12th May 2008, between the
islands of Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora Bora.
Sailing in lagoon, offshore, going through passages and
also some other activities like diving, snorkelling, Polynesian
games, pirogues, hobie cat, etc… Traditional meals and parties
make the Tahiti Pearl Regatta an unforgettable event.
Welcome –
Raiatea
- Motu Ofetaro (after Te Ava Piti) Welcome
the competitors at 1000Hrs. Entry and briefing.
- Barbeque at 12:00Hrs
- Entertainment from 14:00Hrs to 17:00Hrs
(diving, hobbie cat sailing, pirogue, etc…)
- Hawaiki Nui Hotel: Opening cocktails at
1800Hrs. Registration for the latecomers and answer to
questions.
- Dinner

Raiatea and Tahaa lagoons
- Start of the 1st race at 10:00Hrs
- Estimated time of arrival at Motu Ceran
16:00Hrs. Prize giving at the Motu Ceran
- Motu Ceran – Polynesian evening from
18:00Hrs – with Tahitian entertainment
Regatta from Tahaa to Bora Bora
- Start of the regatta at 10:00Hrs from the
Tahaa lagoon
- Estimated time of arrival in Bora Bora
passage at about 16:00Hrs
- Motu Topua, Polynesian evening from
18:00Hrs – Party, entertainment, dance, local festivity,
etc.
Regatta in
Bora Bora lagoon
- Start of the race at 10:00Hrs
- Matira Beach, lunch on your own, 13:00Hrs
- Entertainment from 14:00Hrs to 17:00Hrs
- Prize giving and cocktails at 18:00rs (in
case of bad weather: Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & SPA)
