Galerna
Expeditions Galerna specialises in diving, fishing, hunting, snorkelling, surfing, expeditions and filming work throughout these areas. Accommodation for 6-8 guests is provided in 3 luxuriously appointed cabins, all with en-suite facilities. A large Swedish Sauna and Jacuzzi provide relaxation while other facilities including an extensive library, sea kayaks, dive compressor, dive equipment and inflatable tenders cater for your recreational requirements. Guest accommodations are commodious and private, with separate crew quarters and work areas that enable your crew to offer attentive, yet unobtrusive service. The crew is selected with the utmost care - they will treat you royally. Rates are available starting from 2 persons to 8, and from a one week charter to several weeks. Our flexible itinerary means we can accommodate special destinations and routes. Galerna will be journeying throughout the Pacific from April- October each year. Pricing for 2006: Charter rate (weekly) US$21,000 (US$375 per person per day based on 8 guests)- includes meals, excludes bar and any local tax that may apply. Discounts available for a minimum charter starting at two weeks. Surf the South Pacific The South Pacific is renowned for the quality and quantity of it's surfing destinations. Almost every island paradise has a picture perfect reef break. During the prime surfing season, (June - September, when the trade winds drive the Antarctic swells north) Galerna will be journeying throughout some of the best surf spots in the world. The South Pacific consists of numerous
archipelagos including Polynesia (Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Line
Islands) & Melanesia ( Fiji Islands, Vanuatu, New
Caledonia).
The potential for surf exploration in the South Pacific is endless. Galerna is the perfect surf expedition vessel for the discerning surfer looking for the perfect wave without the crowds of popular South Pacific resort beaches.

Zealand As one of only a few vessels with permits to operate in New Zealand's Fiordland, Galerna offers excellent opportunities for filming and recreating in some of New Zealand's most isolated and well preserved wilderness areas. Other Ports of call include Wellington, Marlborough (Picton), and Golden Bay where she is available for extended charters. Galerna will also travel to specific areas upon request. (Auckland islands, Bay of Islands etc) Our experienced crew have a wealth of
knowledge regarding cruising in New Zealand including excellent game fishing,
