DIVERSE CHARMS
The Enchanting
Leewards/Society Islands
"Discovery of the Leeward Islands of Tahiti Cruise":
a 7 day adventure, enjoyed for the most part inside tranquil lagoons which
provides the opportunity to discover the islands of BORA-BORA, RAIATEA, TAHAA, and
HUAHINE. Suitable for all interests, this tour includes four wheel drive excursions,
evening dinner ashore with Polynesian dancing, escapes to solitary white sand motu and
water sports. You will find windsurfers, snorkel and fishing gear and sea kayak aboard.
A classic cruise: a mix of the
Marquesas with its volcanic islands and of the Tuamotus with their lagoons.
Embarkation at Huahine and
disembarkation at Bora-Bora, vice versa the following week. 7-day itinerary around the
islands of Huahine, Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora-Bora.
3/4 hour sailing between the
islands or in the lagoons. Nautical activities, white-sand beaches... but also the
discovery of the islands (vanilla plantations).
The Unspoiled Tuamotu
Atolls
Bordering rings of sand and coral, which perch upon the tops of 5,000 to 10,000
foot submarine volcanoes, rise up from the deep blue to form one of the most well known
images of the Pacific, that of palm fringed beaches surrounding magnificent lagoons. This
series of atolls provides a perfect habitat for a rich variety of marine life and offers a
brilliant example of ocean colour changes. Two types of cruises are offered:
"Discovery of the Tuamotu Islands Cruise":

or 4 days of "Robinson Crusoe" type solitude within the tranquil lagoon of
Rangiroa atoll to intensely experience the world of the "Big Blue" and the
opportunity to enjoy your favourite water sports. You will find windsurfers, snorkelling
gear, and sea kayaks aboard the yachts. If you don't want a full week on the water, then
this is the cruise for you!
Embarkation and disembarkation at
Rangiroa. 3 to 4 days spent inside the atoll (the biggest lagoon in the world: 80km (50
miles) long. Short sailing trips only within the sheltered waters of the lagoon. Noon and
evening the yacht anchors along a new "motu" or a rose sand beach. Planned
activities: discovery of the undersea world in waters teeming with marine life;
windsurfing, barbecued fish... and relaxation. Happiness above and under the water!
Adventure Cruise in the heart of the Tuamotus:
7 day cruise boarding in Fakarava on Saturday morning, disembarking on Friday at
12n in Rangiroa. Frequency is monthly, based on enclosed schedule. 3 atolls are
visited, Fakarava, Toau, and Rangiroa. There is an opportunity of scuba diving
on 3-4 occasions, with diving clubs in Fakarava & Rangiroa. Other activities
include snorkelling, fishing, kayak rides, introduction to the ecosystem of the
atolls, lunch with islanders, etc.
